Bryan/College Station Tea Party meeting
Thursday, February 19, 6:30 PM
Outback Steakhouse, 2102 Texas Avenue South, College Station

As always, come early for eating and discussion!

The purpose of the Primary Election in March is to choose candidates for political parties to represent each party in the November General Election.

The US Congressional District 10 race has eight active candidates.

It is unlikely that any one of these candidates will receive over 50% of the Primary vote which will result in two candidates with the most votes competing in the runoff election in late May.

CD-10 Candidates

Our main program will have three of the CD-10 candidates speaking:

Jessica Karlsruher * Rob Altman  *  Jeremy Story

Brazos County Candidates

We will also hear from three local candidates at this meeting.

Kyle Greenwood – Running for Pct. 2 Commissioner

Peter Michelena – Running for Pct. 4 Commissioner

Mike Southerland – Running for County Judge

This occasion will probably be the last opportunity to hear from these candidates before voting in the Primary Election.

The Brazos County Commissioners Court consists of the County Judge and four Commissioners. The Judge and Commissioners have the authority to conduct all the general business of the county and also have various other duties.

Our friends Cynde Wiley, Cathy Viens and Karen Simpson have done a tremendous job of monitoring and engaging with the Commissioners Court since 2023. They will be sharing with us what they have learned about the Court’s decisions and actions regarding the county budget, tax rate, expenses, elections, contracts, facilities, construction projects and other stuff as time permits.

(This screenshot is from the Brazos County YouTube channel. All the Commissioner Court public meetings are here.)

It’s our (the taxpayers’) money!

Everyone needs to know “What’s Happening at Commissioners Court” because it is directly related to everyone’s pocket book and our future in Brazos County

Looking Forward to Another Great Meeting!

Get out the Vote Training https://bcsteaparty.com/get-out-the-vote-training/ Sun, 21 Jul 2024 01:44:00 +0000 https://ctl.rxg.mybluehost.me/?p=72

July 19th

Brazos Co. Republicans,

We have just witnessed a historic week that has generated energy and unity across Texas and the United States. Now it is time for all of us to be part of returning President Trump to the White House and Sen Ted Cruz back into the Senate. Are you asking, what can I do? Brazos County needs you to help Get Out The Vote (GOTV) because it is counties like ours that make a huge difference in offsetting Dallas, Tarrant, Harris and Travis counties that lean to the Left.

Therefore the Brazos County Republican Party is providing GOTV training and strongly encouraging all of you to participate in GOTV training as a first step. There will be no charge for this training.

  • The training will be held September 14 from 9am to 1pm. Put on your calendar now.
  • A captivating trainer coming to prepare you to help to get every Brazos county voter possible to the polls.
  • Please register ASAP by emailing your name and contact information to information@brazosgop.org so that we can adequately plan space for the event.

Thank you for your participation. Watch for other campaign events between now and November 5.

Russ Ford

Chairman

Brazos County Republican Party
