Changes for the B/CS Tea Party, including our meeting day!

Big changes are in store for the Bryan/College Station Tea Party.  We are moving our monthly meeting to the 2nd Thursday of the month, so that we can also attend the Republican Executive Board meeting which meets the 1st Thursday of each month.

Our campaign to fill Republican Party precinct chairs was hugely successful. Thanks to each Tea Party conservative that stood for election to become Precinct Chairs as well as members of the Executive Board.

Attendance at the Executive Board meeting is a priority as this is the premier opportunity to speak clearly regarding constitutional conservative principles to our elected representatives.

  • The leadership of Governor Perry and Attorney General Greg Abbott on 10th Amendment/Nullification Issues will only be stymied by the election of Joe Strauss as Texas Speaker of the House.
  • Although, the recent State Convention made clear that the vast majority of Republican Texans REJECT the leadership team of Strauss/Dewhurst, our local State Representatives are obviously falling under the guile of Strauss leadership.
  • It is important to let our State Representatives and Senator know that our interest is in 10th Amendment/Nullification and support for the leadership of Governor Perry and Attorney General Greg Abbott.

The Republican Executive Board Meeting is open to all, December 6, 2012, Thursday, 7:00 p.m. at Republican Party of Brazos County Headquarters, 4020 Stillmeadow in Bryan.

The Bryan/College Station Tea Party will have our meeting on the 2nd Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. at the Southwood Community Center, 1520 Rock Prairie, CS.

  • College Station City Council is pursuing unaccountable medical boardscapable of issuing bonds as well as assessing ad valorum taxes in their unnecessary quest to obtain Federal Funds (what about the National Debt don’t these people get??) to create what the free market is already establishing – a Bio-Medical Corridor.
  • We must remain vigilant at the State Level in regards to supporting the leadership of Governor Perry and Attorney General Abbott in regards to 10th Amendment/Nullification of U.N. and Federal Regulations that are harmful to the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness of Texans.
  • Likewise, on the national scene we must be ready to support Texas’ new Senator, Ted Cruz, when he is targeted by the opposition.

Nullification: How to Resist Tyranny in the 21st CenturyComing in January – Michael Quinn Sullivan and Andrew Kerr from Empower Texans.

We will continue offering the Constitution in 10 Lessons (We are on Lesson 4) as well as offering special presentations that re inspire us in our national heritage and source documents. It is this knowledge that unifies us as constitutional conservatives because a group unified according to principles is unyielding.

Look forward to an overview of Tom Woods’ Nullification. Order your copy to read in advance!!

Hope to see everyone soon!

Merry Christmas,
Nancy Coppock
