Just as the budget battle leaves the House, Senate Democrats are stepping up their attack on the Tea Party. On Monday, March 28, 2011 Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) opened the Senate floor with: “The infighting between the tea party and the rest of the Republican party, including the Republican leadership to Congress, is keeping our negotiating partner [from] the negotiating table. It’s pretty hard to negotiate without someone on the other side of the table to talk to.” It seems Reid is trying to rewrite history as to which party leaders fled the budget debate in Wisconsin and believes the spin that the Wisconsin budget resolution is unconstitutional because no Democrats would attend the open meeting.

The Democrat campaign against the Tea Party continued on Tuesday when House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said “Unfortunately, there are a number of new people in the Congress who think that a compromise is a sellout.” No, Sen. Hoyer, we believe the Obama budget is the sellout!
Call our Senators and tell them no deal on this budget.
